Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1996. She is an actor popular for Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film maker born into an extended familia. She has worked in both fields. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. She played Nanni's daughter the next season in Red Wood Pigeon. It was the beginning of her professional career when it was launched with Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido. This movie received a positive review in the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she acted for the first time alongside her father, famed Italian film director Dario Argento her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl who is in search for her parents' killer. Asia's absorbed intense style of performing was well used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. In 1993, she was a co-star in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista in which she played Arianna who was a disabled girl. This was an intricate and difficult part that earned she the David di Donatello for most outstanding actress. She also played prominent roles in the cast international of Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995, she was a co-star with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her an award from the David diDonatello and an award called a Grolla of Oro. Asia began directing in 1994. She released two shorts and an episode from the film De Generazione. In 1996, she produced a documentary about her father, and AbelAsia which was a documentary about the cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which was awarded by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's debut feature film as a director was Scarlet Diva with the film in which she was the main actress, and also wrote the screenplay. The film released May 20, 2000, both in Italy in addition to the rest of world. This film was awarded during the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
